1. Raw material preparation
Non woven fabric material: Most disposable isolation gowns are made of polypropylene (PP) spunbond non-woven fabric or SMS (spunbond meltblown spunbond composite) non-woven fabric, which has the characteristics of waterproof, anti liquid penetration, and breathability.
Accessories: including elastic bands, straps, rubber strips (used to seal seams), nose bridge strips (required for some designs), etc.
Antibacterial coating (optional): Some isolation gowns may be treated with antibacterial or anti-static agents.
2. Design and cutting
Pattern design: Design a loose and full body pattern according to the purpose (such as medical or industrial use), ensuring easy movement and tight protection.
Machine cutting: Using an automated cutting machine to cut non-woven fabric into front, back, sleeves, and other components according to the design drawings.

3. Sewing or heat sealing processing
Ultrasonic welding (mainstream process): Non woven components are bonded by high-frequency ultrasonic waves to avoid pinholes and gaps and improve protection.
Sewing machine stitching (some low-end products): Waterproof stitching is required, and a rubber strip is pressed to seal the seam.
Reinforcement treatment: The collar, cuffs, waist and other easily worn parts need to be reinforced with stitching or adhesive tape.
4. Accessory installation
Strap or Velcro: used to secure isolation clothing.
Elastic cuffs/cuffs: enhances sealing.
Reflective strip (optional): used in special working environments (such as hazardous areas).

The production of disposable isolation gowns heavily relies on automated equipment such as non-woven fabric production lines and ultrasonic welding machines to ensure efficiency and consistency.
