PU film sterile dressing is a common medical dressing, mainly used to cover and protect wounds.

The main material is polyurethane (PU), which is flexible and breathable. The thickness of polyurethane film is relatively thin, and it is less likely to cause discomfort when adhering to the skin. The surface of PU film is usually specially treated to give it certain waterproof performance while allowing air circulation, which helps keep the wound dry.

How is a pu wound dressing?

- Outer layer: Made of PU film, it provides protection and waterproof functions.

- Middle layer: May contain absorbent materials for managing small amounts of exudate.

- Inner layer: Usually made of low-sensitivity adhesive, it ensures a firm adhesion to the skin during application while reducing irritation to the skin.
