Ayida (Xiamen) P&C Technology Co., Ltd. is one of the most professional manufacturers and suppliers of superabsorbent dressing in China. Please feel free to wholesale bulk CE approved superabsorbent dressing for sale here from our factory. Customized orders are welcome.
Superabsorbent dressings are multi-layered, fluid-absorbing dressings that contain a semi-adhesive or non-adhesive layer and a highly absorbent fiber layer such as cellulose, cotton, or rayon. The dressings minimize adhesion to the wound and control fluid exudate. They can be used as a primary or secondary dressing to manage surgical incisions, lacerations, abrasions, burns, donor or skin graft sites, or any other type of exuding wound.

Main Features
Multi-layer structure: This highly absorbent wound dressing is designed with a multi-layer structure, each layer has its own unique function. The bottom layer directly contacts the wound, providing soft fit and absorption; the middle layer is responsible for rapid absorption and conduction of exudate; the top layer is breathable and waterproof to prevent external contamination and excessive soaking.
High absorption rate: This dressing can absorb up to 40 times its own weight in exudate. This super absorption capacity makes it excellent when treating wounds with high exudate. Whether it is acute or chronic wounds, it can keep the wound dry and reduce the risk of exudate accumulation.
Reduce the frequency of dressing changes: Due to its super absorption capacity, this dressing can remain effective for a long time and reduce the frequency of dressing changes. This not only relieves the patient's pain, but also reduces the workload of nursing and improves the efficiency of nursing.
Protect surrounding skin: By reducing maceration, this dressing can protect the surrounding skin from long-term immersion in exudate, reduce the possibility of skin softening and damage, and thus reduce the risk of infection.
Applications
It contains a superabsorbent polymer core that rapidly absorbs and locks in fluid, preventing backflow of exudate into the wound. Therefore, it is commonly used for:
Chronic Wounds
Venous leg ulcers (often under compression therapy)
Diabetic foot ulcers
Long-term non-healing wounds
Acute Wounds
Traumatic wounds with heavy exudate
How to use?
- Clean the wound and keep the area dry.
- Open the package and remove the dressing.
- Gently cover the wound with the dressing.
- Use bandage or tape to secure dressing.

FAQ
Q: How much fluid can it absorb?
A: Absorption capacity depends on size and SAP content, but generally it can absorb multiple times its own weight while maintaining structure integrity.
Q: Does it reduce wound maceration?
A: Yes. By quickly drawing fluid away from the wound surface and locking it inside the core, it helps protect peri-wound skin.
Q: Is the Superabsorbent dressings sterile?
A: Yes. Sterile EO packaging is available for clinical use.
